Gala, Nuevo León, Mexico

San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, Mexico

THE BRIEF

Gala is two 30-storey residential towers defined by repetition. The architecture by RAMSA follows an ordered, classically influenced language that relies on consistency and proportion within its luxury context. The facade needed to perform within budget and construction constraints while upholding the design intent.

Strategy

We approached the facade as a system from day one, setting it up to work at scale across hundreds of balconies. We used precast concrete as the backbone, rationalizing panel sizes and geometry to reduce mold variations while maintaining the intended rhythm. In parallel, we developed a custom aluminum window extrusion aligned precisely with the panels, avoiding standard profiles and simplifying detailing, coordination, and construction.

RESULT

Across both towers, Gala’s facade carries the architect’s intent through repetition, giving the project a clear and ordered identity at scale. The benefits are tangible too. Fewer molds, repeatable details, and a facade strategy that moved smoothly from design to construction.
